Alpha has made societal value creation the bedrock of its business strategy and we are doing our bit in adding value to the community we live in. Here is an initiative we believe in – Why? Because it imparts skills and self sustenance.
Agram is a social initiative undertaken by the who’s who of Surat, which is not just an NGO but a skill development centre for the young, underprivileged children, that focuses on giving hands-on knowledge and experience. The objective here is to make them independent for the greater good.
In a city like Surat, a generous city with no dearth of good intent, Agram is encouraging hundreds of children to recognize their capabilities and interests through pragmatic trainings. With this, they also give academic assistance to students of classes 1st to 10th. Last summer, Agram organized a camp for over 80 children where they participated in dancing, hand – craft work, one day picnics, and many such engaging activities.
Big changes prevail from the little steps we take and Agram, which means “ahead of”, is without a doubt heading in the right direction. It plans to strengthen its organizational roots by providing better infrastructure and amenities to the instructors as well as the children, like a functional computer center and a loaded library.
The way Alpha adds value to by its environment friendly products; the initiators of Agram are doing their part for the society. We appreciate their efforts and support them in all ways possible.
